TiedUp ("we", "us", "our") is a rule and accountability tracker for adults. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have.
Age requirement
TiedUp is intended for adults aged 18 and over. By creating an account you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we become aware that a user is under 18, we will close the account and delete the associated data.
What we collect
- Account information: email address, display name, username, and a hashed password. - Content you create: rules, check-in entries, journal notes, tags, and any text you enter in the app. - Usage data: pages visited, features used, timestamps of activity. This is used to improve the product and is not sold. - Partner relationship data: links between accounts and shared visibility settings you choose to enable.
We do not collect payment card numbers directly. Card handling is managed by Stripe under their own privacy policy.
How we use your data
- To operate and improve the app. - To send transactional emails you have opted into (reminders, partner notifications, account security). - To enforce our Terms of Service.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Admin access
Members of the TiedUp team with admin access can view account information and content for the purpose of support, safety review, and abuse prevention. We access data only when necessary and treat it with discretion given the sensitive nature of the content. Admins do not proactively monitor content; access is triggered by reports or technical investigation.
Data retention and deletion
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing support@tiedup.app. We will process the request within 30 days.
Cookies and local storage
We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We use local storage for UI preferences such as theme. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
