Check-ins: mood and reflection logs
Using periodic check-ins to capture context beyond individual rule entries.
Check-ins are standalone mood and reflection logs — separate from individual rule entries. Use them to capture how a period felt overall, not just whether rules were completed.
What a check-in contains
- A mood score (1–10)
- A free-text note for reflection or context
- An optional partnership context (links it to a specific dynamic)
- A timestamp (automatically set)
When to use check-ins
- After a meaningful scene, session, or scheduled review
- To capture emotional state independent of rule completion
- As a journal-style reflection on a day or period
- To give your partner visibility into how you're feeling
Visibility
If a check-in is linked to a partnership, your partner can view it depending on the visibility settings for that partnership. Solo check-ins with no partnership context are always private.
