Logging your daily progress

How the Today view works and what each log status means.

The Today view is your daily dashboard. It shows all rules that apply right now and lets you log a status for each one.

Log statuses

  • Completed — you fulfilled the rule fully
  • Partial — you made meaningful progress but did not fully complete it
  • Skipped — you deliberately chose not to do it today (no penalty to streak)
  • Missed — you intended to but did not; breaks a streak

Skipped and Missed are intentionally different. "Skipped" is a conscious choice (rest day, travel); "Missed" is an unplanned lapse. Streak calculations treat them separately.

Notes and mood

Each rule entry can include a free-text note (visible to partners if the rule is shared) and an optional mood score from 1 to 10. Notes help you understand patterns when you review history later.

Situational rules

Situational rules are hidden from Today by default. Toggle "Situational: On" at the top of Today to include them when a relevant context applies.

Streaks

A streak counts consecutive periods (days or weeks depending on rule type) where you logged Completed or Partial. The streak breaks on a Missed entry. Analytics → Streaks shows current and longest streaks per rule.

Partner context filter

If you have multiple active partnerships, the partner context selector in the sidebar lets you filter Today to show rules relevant to a specific partnership, or see all dynamics at once.
